NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE - TEMPORARILY CLOSED - December 18, 1995

The National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, Maryland is temporarily
closed as a result of the Federal government shutdown today. Online
services are operational but no staff are available to take calls or
answer questions. Emergency fax requests for clinical emergencies will
be processed and the MEDLARS Management Help Desk has minimal staffing
for emergency questions. We regret any inconvenience this has caused.
