         CANADIAN SERIALS INDUSTRY SYSTEMS ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CSISAC)
                            "COPING WITH CUTS"
          A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION FOR  SERIALS STAKEHOLDERS

Please join us for what we believe will be  an interesting  and lively
discussion of how cuts to serials budgets and collections  are affecting
us and how different types of libraries are coping.

To stimulate discussion we will be have brief presentations from
individuals representing different types of libraries who will share
their perspectives on cuts and how their institutions are coping.

Public Libraries: Jenny Lorentowicz, Mississauga Public Library
Gov't/Corporate Libraries: Deidre Grimes, Ontario Legislative Library
Academic Libraries: Margaret Hawthorne, Erindale College (U of T)

There is no charge for this event, but to ensure we have  enough chairs
on hand, please pre-register by  sending your name, affiliation and phone

CSISAC  encourages all serial stakeholders to attend, including
librarians, agents and serial publishers.  We have much information to
share and many questions to ask.  Come prepared to share.
