Call for reviewers -Tools of the Serials Trade column Teresa Malinowski 26 Mar 1996 20:15 UTC

Have you read any good books lately AND are you interested in
sharing your thoughts about those books with colleagues?
Then, consider being a reviewer for the "Tools of the Serials
Trade" column in _Serials Review_. The purpose of the "Tools"
column is to alert serialists to relevant professional publications.
I would like to create a pool of interested colleagues. When I
receive books for review, I will contact individuals from my volunteer
reviewer pool regarding your interest in a given title and your
ability to meet a specific deadline.

Reviews need to be substantive, evaluative, and of "considerable"
length, 4 to 6 double-spaced typed pages. Reviews may be submitted
on disk or via e-mail. First-time reviewers are welcome!

If you would like to serve as a reviewer, please contact me.
Include your areas of expertise and interest:

automation
cataloging
serials management
collection development
internet and electronic resources
scholarly publishing
Other "general" issues: copyright, diversity/multiculturalism,
    organizational or management theory, etc.
