Hi Steve, We have about 1600 titles and for the last several years
we have had not had a printed copy, relying on DRA or ATLAS, since
we check in our periodicals. However, there ARE times
when our system is down and they have no way of knowing where
things are since we have our periodicals in LC order. I have
recently produced a list that I keep in Microsoft Access-I
keep several fields, such as vendor, bound, film, fiche, etc. and
can show which fields I want to print. Our reference people were
thrilled to have such a list to fall back on-it is about 70 pages
long and when I make changes I can just give them a new page, instead
of printing the whole thing. vickey baumli, northwest missouri state

We do a library periodicals and indexes holdings list each
January. Since this has been input (years ago) in a database, we
only have to update the list. We are a small branch campus of the
Un of Cinti.
