We are highly pleased with the product. Students are extremely enthusiastic because of access issues and convcenience--coupled with the fact that we were able to cancel 300 print journal subscriptions because they duplicated titles in this database---and add 700 new titles for the same $$$. Reservations have been threefold: limited faculty complaints about the currency of the database versus print material ( a week or two behind at times); faculty complaints that the entire issue is not available and that they can't browse an issue from front to back; that we have no printing solution linked to our workstations. EBSCO has been less than helpful in addressing the problem of cost recovery through photocopying charges since few vendors have a smart card solution to what we "the printer problem." There were a number of bugs in the beginning, but the latest version is wonderful and I am continually amazed at the depth of the database.
