HEAD, SELECTION AND ACQUISITION SECTION
(GS-1410-14, Salary: $68,570-$89,142)

Description: The National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, MD, is seeking a
supervisory librarian to head its Selection and Acquisition Section. The
section is responsible for the selection and acquisition of biomedical
monographs including books, audiovisuals and electronic programs; for the
processing of approximately 23,000 print and non-print monographs; for the
management of NLM's literature budget of over five million dollars
annually; for the operation of NLM's literature exchange program with
domestic and foreign institutions; and for cooperating in  the development
and maintenance of  automated systems to support these activities.
