Laurie:

I would be very interested in the results of your labors.
At the moment we are very busy with preparing for
automation but the Access database is a very good idea
and I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you.

              title availability (Laurie Nalepa)

Dear Laurie,
You might also look into using FileMaker Pro 4.0 or 4.1
(the latest version). There are both Mac and Windows
versions available. FileMaker Pro is an excellent database
program -- and I suspect a heck of a lot less difficult to
learn than MS Access. It is also relatively inexpensive.
Their URL is: http://www.filemakerpro.com/

Peace,
Scott
