Request: List of canonical - or generally accepted if not canonical - [pseudo]commercial ships Jeff Zeitlin 24 Jan 2021 23:28 UTC

I'm adding a supplemental note to an article that was submitted and will be
printed in the March/April 2021 issue of Freelance Traveller. For this
note, I need a list of commercial and pseudocommercial ships - that is,
traders, liners, and freight haulers - of designs that one could reasonably
expect to find in the Spinward Marches. I don't need details, just
one-liners:

>Random-class Free Trader 200 dt J1 1G 88 dtons cargo (Source: Ships of Amber, Zelazny Press, 1975)

What I'd like is for folks to scour their various collections and list
ships that they find of anything up to about 1000 dtons. What I mean by
"pseudocommercial" is that I'd like you to include ships listed as not
generally commercial but used by pirates/privateers/corsairs, and "Q-ships"
(military/anti-piracy ships that masquerade as traders). Non-Imperial
designs (Sword Worlds, Darrian/Daryen, Vargr, Zhodani, and Ihatei Aslan)
are also acceptable. The quicker the better on this one, please?
