Interesting that Firefly has enough marketability to create new books.
I've read Lovegrove's Gods series and found them to be high concept
but with only basic plots with no surprises beyond a single big reveal
in each novel. Yes browsing in a physical store can uncover some
things. I find the same when visiting board game stores. My last
interesting find was a GURPS Klingons book that had been on the
store's shelf for more than 15 years.

The commute (75-90 mins one way on bus/ferry/walk), the interaction with 3D people (nice though that was), the 4.5 miles I walked which is waaaay further than anything I've done in the last year barring about two occasions of 3 and a bit miles. No wonder I'm wrecked. And I don't think that's anything to do, yet, with the second Covid vaccination I had this morning.

Still, it meant that colleague Jane (Fred in TTA) could watch the unboxing and drool.
