I read that powered armor could be battle dress or armor. I knew that suits usually weren’t. The units were something new and seem to be a cross between battle dress and a vehicle.

I’m wondering though whether other non-military exoskeletal “suits” would be considered power armor if they provided some level of protection in addition to their normal function.

I’m pretty sure that battle dress is considered powered armor, but does anyone know if the term “powered armor” refers to any other armor? I’m thinking that Titan suits fall into that category, but would something that just has a powered exoskeleton, such as a dockworkers suit, also be considered “powered armor”? Also, T5 refers to armor, dress, suits, and units. Is it conceivable that some subset of each of those might qualify as some sort of powered armor?
