The gauss rifles were pretty nasty...15grain pellet at 10,000fps for
~3300ft/lbs of energy.  Beyond that, all that's there are descriptions. 
The cone bore rifles had stout recoil, were hard to fire full auto, and
do to the squeeze bore it turned the sabot around the projectile into
additional propellant gas.
