So, I'm once more playing with virtual worlds and Traveller.
Got my Type-S flying, pretty much done with the cockpit upgrades, but
that made me want to practice docking.... and I needed a place to play
with the scripts to override gravity when in free fall. And I wanted a
place to have air pressure accidents and test the scripts for that.

The storyline for the world I'm basing off of is a TL-5 local
production capability with a small IISS waystation used for R&R and
such. One of the things about coming off R&R is 'check rides' for
newer crew to get certified in a skill.

So for in-world fun, I thought about it, and made a bunch of steel
sections (TL-5 steels...) that just fit in the cargo bay of the type
S. Loft them to orbit, pull out, weld to the prior one and you've got
a really primitive space station of around 18 dtons..

There's a hatch at one end that mates to the Sierra's docking hatch.

I stuck on a few off-world made solar panels, and painted the outside
silver to reflect the sunlight, painted the inside with insulation.
Stuck a garage air compressor to a CO2 scrubber, and ran it off
batteries charged by the solar panels. Added a few O2 tanks for
balancing as needed.

There's a TL8 imported ham radio and a cheap microcontroller wired to
it to help with docking. Added a fridge with some snacks in it, just
for certifying the "Zero-G" skill (can prepare meals while floating)

Which leads to my question for the group:
Given a reasonable but small training budget, and access to a TL-5
shopping mall/industrial base , what do you take to orbit and use to
enhance this POS space station?

If it's something for use inside the station, it needs to fit inside a
stateroom.
If it's for the outside, it needs to fit in the 3 dton bay.
