How does this apply for two _vastly different_ but _interacting_ societies?

To no one's great surprise, I offer up the theoretically-classless early
Terran Confederation, and the stratified Ziru Sirka.

If Drake Milford's SOC is one louder (ie, 11) on the Terran side of the
border, does that have any bearing on hisSOC on the ZS side?  Or is he
still just a scumbag barbarian?
