Subject: Catalogers - Help with Angewandte Chemie needed

Hello,

If anyone can shed any light on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just went into OCLC to import a current record of Angewandte Chemie into
our catalog and found that the record is closed.  How can this be?  I am still
receiving this title and the last issue received was the March 17, 2000 issue.
I am using OCLC #1481137 for our holdings.  It looks to me to be the "main"
print record.  The record has a closing date of 1998 even though there is a
310 field showing that the frequency changed in 1999.  Also, there is a 785
record showing that this title is continued in part by "Chemistry".

Any ideas?  I am thinking that this record was closed in error.  If not, there
should be an additional 785 field as this title is still ongoing.

If this record has been incorrectly updated, is there anyone out there who
could correct it?
