This year there are two programs of special interest to Serials
Librarians:

Holdings Formats Come of Age: a MARC Holdings Format Workshop
will feature two CONSER experts, Ruth Haas of Widener Library at Harvard
College, and Frieda Rosenberg of the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill
on Monday Oct. 2, 8:30-10:00 am and 11:00 am-12:30 pm

This program is co-sponsored by the North American Serials Interest Group
(NASIG), the New England Technical Services Librarians (NETSL), and the
Academic Librarians Section of NELA.

Crossing the line: Technical Services and Public Services Collaborate to
Manage Electronic Journals will be presented by Steven E. Thompson
and Anne Cerstvik Nolan of Brown University on Tuesday Oct. 3,
10:00-11:30 am

This program is jointly sponsored by the Association of College and
Resarch Libraries/New England Chapter and the Academic Librarians Section
of NELA.
