Our check-in records show that we received the 1999 yearbook on the same day we received the 2000 yearbook--10/19/99. And the 1998 yearbook arrived 2/12/99. We paid for each in their own year on the IMF membership. You might not have claimed the correct title number with EBSCO. If it's part of the membership you have to claim on the membership number and specify the title. That was part of our problem. I would not pay a second time. First contact EBSCO for a record of your claims. If they don't have one, use your records. Then call the publisher directly. Their first rejection was to an anonymous Ebsco rep. or just a letter. A personal call from the aggrieved customer will be different. Good luck. Mark ps. Guma (202-623-7430 x265) just told me that the 2001 edition is not due until late Sep. 2001, which doesn't fit our receipt history. Has anyone received it yet? We paid for the 2000 edition in advance, but the volume failed to arrive. We were finally informed by EBSCO that the publishers have said since we did not claim the missing issue within three months, we must pay again for a "replacement." We have been claiming all through the calendar year and in any case did not know there was a three month limit for claiming. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Any suggestions from readers? I definitely don't want to pay a second time. That smacks of sleaziness. Thanks. V.
