Our 2002 renewal for this "membership" was a combination subscription for
six quarterly journals and one semi-annual title: Policy Studies Journal;
Policy Studies Review; Policy Evaluation; Developmental Policy Studies;
Creativity Plus; Peace, Prosperity and Democracy; and MKM-PSO-DSI.  This was
offered as a package only.  The publisher calculated the "value" of each
title and advised that the package price of $340 was a savings over the
usual cost of $425.

Our agent has advised that effective January 2002 four of the titles were
discontinued but the publisher will not issue a refund for the "value" of
the unfilled subscription that we were obliged to take.  Where's the
"value"?

Is anyone else trying to deal with this problem and having any success
dealing with this organization?  Seems like this was a bait-and-switch
tactic, which places this 2003 renewal on my "consider for cancelation"
list.
