Sue:
I have been ordering Quik Binders and Pamphlet Binders from Brodart for
years. They are heavy enough to last for years and are reasonably
priced. Recently I have been ordering preservation enclosure type
binders from Metal Edge and I am pleased with them. They also have
various covers.

We use either a Velo Bind machine or a Fastback Binding machine to bind
the Quik Binders together. We do not use any type of spiral binding and
I do not have any information about these.

Velo Bind is sold by GBC but I do not have any addresses.

Subject: In-house binding

Hi,
I have recently joined the staff at Ulster County Community
College, in Stone Ridge, NY, in the ILL/Periodicals dept, and am
wondering
if anyone has a good supplier for in-house binding materials.
Apparently, Gaylord stopped making sturdy covers with cloth and
glue-backed spines, and we need to place an order fairly soon. Any
help
will be appreciated. Thank you.
