You'll get the "nuts and bolts" on NISO's activities, meet NISO's new chairperson, Jan Peterson, and get a full report on NISO's standards development agenda from Pat Stevens, chair of the NISO Standards Development Committee. Guest speaker is Bruce Perens, a leader in the Open Source movement. Bruce is passionate and informed on the changes transforming the information technology landscape. Like that little drop of water steadily falling on a rock, Open Source is having an impact on the IT infrastructure.
