I have emailed and spoken with Elsevier Journals Customer Service
concerning Womens Studies International Forum which was recently mailed.
It was labeled volume 27, number 2, June-July.

Here are the relevant parts of the reply  :

"Thank you for your inquiry.  Volume 27, Issue 2 should have been labeled
as March/April 2004.  I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

 Please be assured that the publication schedule of WOMEN'S STUDIES
INTERNATIONAL FORUM is still bi-monthly.
