Re: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Max Shenk 08 Mar 2007 15:39 UTC

Our campus bookstore has copies of it, and is holding one for us in case we need it. The link in the LIBRARY JOURNAL article led me to SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's website... which, after I logged in with our subscriber ID number, informed me that, since we subscribe through Ebsco, the issue had to be claimed through Ebsco.

I haven't gone onto Ebsconet and tried to claim it yet.

I'm still going to buy the copy on reserve at the bookstore; the point, though (as Shelley said), is that since I ALREADY PAID FOR THIS ISSUE, I shouldn't have to pay for it AGAIN in petty cash, time spent trying to claim it or track it down or get an answer from whomever, or simple irritation.

A straight answer from whomever made this very bad business decision would be MOST refreshing, but I'm not holding my breath.

As Father Mulcahy said in M*A*S*H, "I'm ACRIMONIOUS!!" :-) m
