Subject: Standards of paper quality for journals?

I'm posting this for our Preservation librarian. She is aware of
a journal that is planning to change the paper on which it is
printed. Rather than using paper that is designed for XXX years
(in triple digits), they are preparing to use paper that will last
only YY years (double digits). She asked me about any existing
industry standards for paper for research journals. I recall a
draft of a NISO standard that dealt with the formatting of journals
(pagination, running title, etc.), but do not remember seeing
anything exactly on this topic. Does anyone have any first-hand
knowledge of such a standard? Thanks for any help you can provide.
