As am I. My father worked in a factory and is now disabled due
to carpal tunnel syndrome. He can't feel anything in his arms * at all *.

My apologies to any of you who were offended by what you thought were
sexist comments in my reply of last week.

Funny, isn't it? In a profession where we will defend to the last breath
the rights of freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and the right of
libraries to continue to own, buy, and circulate materials that reflect
all opinions, attitudes, creeds, etc., we feel immediately free to lynch
one of our own for a comment which was sufficiently poorly expressed that
it was misconstrued?
