A long time ago we used a very simple timed test that basically tested ability
to match letters and numbers.  The powers that be eliminated it
- but I found it to be a very accurate indicator of ability to be careful,
accurate and detail oriented - all necessary to deal with serials.  I have
to rely on intuition now - the test was better!
