Ah. Similar premise to Lovecraft's "The Colour Out of Space". Both
have the problem that just because something is colored infrared or
ultraviolet, it *isn't* invisible. It'd be black.

To be "invisible" it would have to be transparent to visible light.
and even then there are refraction effects you'd notice.

But for a horror story, it's acceptavble.
