In one of the many movie Chuck Norris made, Mako takes out a bad guy by
bashing him in the head with a telephone.  "A true warrior uses the
weapons at hand," was his follow up line.

A big, heavy plastic desk phone that had actual metal bells for the
ringer.  Still in common use in the late 70s and earlier 80s. Not
something you find in the Traveller setting unless you are on planet
with the right tech level.

A stylus for your data pad would work as a kubotan/yawara stick. A
length of data cord could be used to choke or deflect and bind an
incoming attack.

An industrial use or milspec data pad could probably replace the
previously mentioned phone.
