Storing hydrogen atoms into a metallic hydride lattice? Phil Pugliese 27 Oct 2014 16:49 UTC

 Ian,

Could you elaborate a bit more as to how this could be performed/executed?

I'm intrigued,

A problem 'half now half later', and
indeed collapsible tanks, have is there are much more
space-efficient ways to store hydrogen than as LHyd - for
example, you can store hydrogren attoms into a metallic
 hydride lattice.

At that point, it gets tempting to use half the tankage
size, refilling it from the long term storage and then using
the new LHyd at the other end - ta da, we just saved a
 decent chunk of volume.
