Hmm, less Victorian than the immediately preceding era I think. We do know the naval doctrine is similar to 18th century Age of Sail doctrine (commanders are given wide latitude of action, communications are at the speed of travel); Hmm, updated ‘Sharpe’s Rifles’ for  FFW anyone?
