It's like me and my work gear - I keep leaving my steel hammer (for
steel builds, obviously) at home, but I carry:
Helmet, carabinered to pack
chest pouch, with gloves, c-wrench, and multitool (plus what ever
stage plots I accidentally left in there from the last pre-game party
build)
hi-vis vest
Kneepads
Coffee
a couple of the cheap MREs (because when you get an hour off for
lunch, and you're dead broke...)
A couple books
And I'm wearing a jacket, steel-toe boots, climbing pouch, 4+ extra
carabiners (one of which is over a pound on its own), and the usual
you would expect (tobacco, lighters, wallet, keys, flashlight, knife).
Really, I would expect the average Traveller to be carrying a multi,
lighters, keychain tools, a flashlight, their wallet, and a knife.
