Heh...  I spent most of my childhood in Wahiawa (by Wheeler AFB and
Schofield Barracks) and am very used to a slice of spam with, well,
pretty much EVERYthing.

But it IS possible to have too much spam, especially if badly
prepared (I was more enthusiastic than skilled, and yes, one CAN
badly prepare spam.  Or, at least, *I* can...)

Pineapple. That was the problem.  Or a lack of it was.  We didn't
have any in the house on game night so I couldn't serve fried spam
with pineapple rings or spam chunks in crushed pineapple...  THAT
would've been good... ;-)

PS: I believe you're right about Hawai'ian spam consumption being the
highest in the US. I read somewhere Guam has the highest world
consumption, for mainly the same reasons...
