In a DGP product that's almost impossible to get hold of and not
referenced by anything else (as far as I'm aware, and certainly not by
anything I use). And yes, somehow there's this amazing reactor/capacitor
system that's not used for anything else, no matter how useful it would
be (aside from storing black globe energy in some versions). Yeah, right.

That also doesn't make sense when HG requires you to have power from
your power-plant to be able to jump.

When it comes down to it, in CT a jump drive is a black box into which
you pour power and hydrogen when you want to jump. They are consumed,
and you (hopefully) jump. Also in CT, as long as you aren't jumping too
close to a world, and are using refined fuel, you don't misjump. It's a
simple and safe system from the operator's point of view.
