Some of us were there, yes. My recollection was that it mainly just went
on forever, and every time it seemed to die down it would then flare
back up, and it consumed all other conversation. "They're in Canon, so
they must exist!", "But they make no sense!", "If we assume these sensor
rules, they can/cannot [choose one] exist!", and on and on.
